In what was only their third season of intercollegiate bowling competition, the Robert Morris Women's Bowling team earned a bid to the United State Bowling Congress National Collegiate Team Championships with a second-place finish at the USBC Team Sectionals in Las Vegas, Nevada. 

Just prior to her graduation, senior captain Kristin Nielsen (Horseheads, NY) led the Eagles with a phenomenal second place finish in the National Singles Championships.  

The Lady Eagles won four tournaments in the 2007-2008 season and will be a heavy favorite to make a return appearance in the 2008-2009 USBC Team Championships.  

Veterans Heather D'Errico (Rochester, NY) and Amy McBee (Zion, IL) will provide leadership for a very talented, but youthful, group of bowlers.
